Project Overview
We completed DOFF cleaning works to one of the listed canal locks in The Royal Canal, Dublin which were constructed from 1790 – 1817.
Description of works
The DOFF cleaning works were carried out to the canal as contracted by Dublin City Council. This was done so as not to damage the original stone walls.
Dublin City Council and the main contractor of these works were very pleased with the outcome of our work.
Works completed included;
- Steam cleaning the original stone works
- Steam cleaning the original wooden and metal lock doors
