Project Overview
Pearl Assurance House (formerly known as The Ocean Buildings) is a fantastically ornate, Gothic revival style building which incorporates a tall pinnacle corner tower and a three tiered oriel window with beautiful decorative filligree. It is a Grade B1 listed building situated right in the heart of Belfast. The building is typical of Victorian Architecture and was built in 1899-1902. It is one of just a few remaining iconic buildings in the City.
Description of works;
Our works to this project will include:
- Extensive stone cleaning with use of the DOFF & TORC cleaning systems
- Stone replacement
- Onsite stone carving
- Lime repointing
- Restoration of a number of detailed stone carvings throughout the building
