Project Overview
We were delighted to have been awarded the restoration works to the Crozier Monument, Banbridge.
The Crozier Monument was constructed in 1862 in honour of Banbridge born Francis Rawdon Moria Crozier who died in 1848 on expedition to discover the North West Passage. The monument is one of eight points across the world, acknowledging Francis Crozier’s contribution towards exploration and science.
Description of works;
Our works as a main contractor included:
- Repointing of existing base
- Biocide cleaning
- Doff cleaning to all areas of the monument
- Specialised cleaning to statue
- Providing access to allow these works
